We've posted the current point standings for the Aquathlon and 5k Run. You'llnotice we've changed how we do points - it's easier! Top 15 get points - and we've also added points per age group, so everyone can see how they are doing with their peers! Check out the POINTS section.
04.28.08 - PdR: San Diego Recap
What a great (and hot) race morning. As the tide came in, over 150 racers hit the water and streets at the 2008 kickoff event. Results are posted - congrats to David Valencia and Alejandra Rojo on their overall wins in the Aquathlon! 04.25.08 - Attack in Solana Beach
As most people have heard, there was a fatal shark attackof a TCSD member in Solana Beach this morning . Our heart goes out to his family and friends. The event on Sunday will happen as planned and we will be collecting donations for the family of the victim. Please check this website today and tomorrow for futrher updates.

The 2008 dates are posted! Check'm out and get your spots before they sell out. We've got new sponsors on board, and we're prepared to provide another great season of racing! Other news that's not as exciting: for the first time in 5+ years, we're raising our prices by $5. But never fear, you will be getting more for your money (seriously). Also, due to rising costs, we will no longer be doing an official Thursday Night Series in Playa del Rey. It's tough to say goodbye, since we started the series on Thursday nights, but Brennan is going to be starting up an unofficial/untimed/unruly thursday night sprint in Santa Monica in July. :)
